Mohammed Ali Al Shorafa Al Hammadi brings a host of strengths to his role as Managing Director and CEO of UEMedical with his successful track record and proven abilities in strategic planning, policy implementation and innovative management skills.
He aspires to redefine the definition of healthcare in the UAE by promoting quality care that meets international standards. By strategically partnering with leading international players in the healthcare sector, Mr. Al Shorafa aims to create an unbeatable healthcare proposition that combines exceptional services, highly-qualified medical teams and innovative technologies to curate a reassuring and welcoming patient-centric environment across the UEMedical portfolio.
He is currently a Board Member in a number of leading organizations spanning a variety of sectors throughout the region that include U.P.I, Baniyas Concrete and is Vice Chairman of United Eastern Group (UEG) and Gulf Contractors Company (GCC). He is also the Chairman of the Healthcare Working Group and a Board Member of the UAE-UK Business Council.
Prior to launching UEMedical, Mr. Al Shorafa worked for 9 years at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) before taking up a leadership role in the healthcare development sector.
Mr. Al Shorafa holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from London Business School and has also attended a variety of programs at reputed institutions such as MIT Sloan and Citibank Global Asset Management.
